Halloween - Johnny was a perfect Zebra and Matt was an attempt at a Giraffe. Me, well just an zoo animal lover :)
2nd year we did the Bob's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch with Kyle and family. We even did the maze this year, which was hard. I think it took us well over and hour to get out. The boys started to get a bit restless.
We had our annual Huffaker pumpkin carving event, where J got messy and had so much fun helping get the pumpkins ready for carving. We had a full safari at this party : Charlotte = Giraffe, Hudson = Lion and Johnny = Zebra. It was a fun night with friends. Brenda joined us this year and helped carve some amazing creations. If the pumpkin looks good, then Brenda or Matt probably did it. Tanya and I were more of assistants.

On Halloween night, we took J to the University Village trick or treat event. We did this last year as well. He loved it. He wasn't about getting all of the candy, but more about stopping to try a new piece. He needed to rest and enjoy his found love for suckers. We still keep candy in the Elmo basket for him. It has really been helping with potty training. A chocolate treat for a brown treat. Probably not the best for the teeth, but most poos since November have been where they should be... in our toilet. Yeap, you heard me right.. Johnny is almost potty trained before 2 1/2 :)
Thanksgiving was at the Fontaine house again this year. Matt made an amazing brine turkey and it was better then last year. Good family time for all of us together. No pics to share of this event.
BUT, I can share The Fontaine Men of Movember :
Christmas....lots of fun this year. J really got into it. He was a bit obsessed with this big man they call Santa. He is still asking for him. Santa brought him a basketball hoop and many balls.
One new fact from the holidays is that Johnny loves the Grinch. We probably watch The Grinch 2 times a day..... he will have us fast forward until The Grinch is on the screen. We probably should regulate this, but he loves it. It will be a funny story when he gets older.
Enjoy our holiday:
