Already August, 11 Months Now

I cant even believe J is now 11 months. Where has the time gone? He is one amazing, changing, growing, almost fully walking, talking, fun, smart, caring, perfect boy! He just makes me smile during the worst day.

Why not start the pics with J, being J. He has the best personality. I honestly cant figure out where he gets it from. He is a total blend of Mom and Dad.

I got to visit Vancouver BC in August to see Ms. Kate Grafton. Nicole joined me for a night of fun in the big city of V.BC. We had a really fun time. Kate pretty much wants and needs to move to the Northwest.

SEAHAWKS!!!! And so the pre-season begins and Matt and I get to go to the games. We haven't brought J yet, but plan to if he can sit still for more then a minute..... not sure on that.

As the month ends and we head into September with Labor Day weekend...... We got to head to Lake Roosevelt, about 5 hours from Seattle to go and see Papa and Grandma Carlson. Papa got a new toy and we had to try it out. We love spending time at the lake with them. The toy was pretty fun too and J loved it. Even got to help Papa drive it.

Retirement has been good to them

Johnny took his first steps on 8-20-2012. Ix-Chel let me know it happened and then I saw for myself when I picked him up after work. Ever since it has been an extra step everyday. He is pretty much walking and is so proud and claps when he gets a few steps in. We cheer with him and say YEAH!!!!

Some fun facts this month:

  • Has taken steps... all started on 8-20-2012
  • Laughing and loving life
  • Talks ALOT. He loves to say WOW and has started to say HOT
  • Will wave at people, hi and bye
  • Loves to point at items and ask what they are - very curious
  • Signs; all done and bottle
  • Sleeps through the night and has since Memorial Day weekend. It's amazing. Usually 8:30pm-7am.
  • Loves food = He will try anything and seems to like it all. Fish, sweet potato fries (and regular), eggs, blueberries, blackberries kiwi, pineapple, peaches, green beans, avocado, dad's zucchini bread, cheese, black and pinto beans, broccoli, carrots, mommy's meatloaf, mac and cheese, puffs, teething cookies and cheerios.
  • Has 4 teeth now. 2 on top and 2 on bottom
  • Loves bath time or just water time in general
  • Smiles all the time, but does have his upset times as well
  • Loves snacks and standing to eat them
Absolutely the best. The time has flown by, so thank goodness I have been trying to keep track of it all here. Almost like an online baby book.

Invites have gone out for his upcoming 1st birthday. It's football themed, so I told you all to wear your favorite team. I am hoping for a great turnout for football, bouncy house, hot dog and nacho bar, keg and much much more fun......

Will add videos here..... Stay tuned.......

July in Maine, Johnny turns 10 months!

Maine Maine Maine = Fun Fun Fun

Camp, named MARLOUCHAWIL after the Fontaine sons. Matt loved having J here to start memories with his son.

To kick off July, we traveled with Johnny for the first time to see Maine and all its wonder, especially meeting most of the family. We spent 2 weeks in Maine with family and friends and it was perfect. The weather was in the upper 80's the whole time. We stayed overnight at camp, half the time and loved it. Got to wake up to the lake in the morning and feed J his breakfast outside, while we sipped our coffee and just relaxed. J had just started to crawl, so he was exploring everywhere and everything. He even liked the lake, even though it was a bit colder then he's used to. We had a kiddie pool set up for him too. Anyway he can be in the water, he will take it. We had many fun days together and Matt and I even got away for a night. We went to Monhegan Island for hiking, history, lobster, board games and just hanging out together. It was truly beautiful. We will be back! I hope all the pics attached tell the story of our fun times in Maine. We will be back to see everyone at Christmas!!!
Great Memeres and J

J's 1st 4th of July

Thanks Nick  for creating a barge of fireworks - AMAZING!

The fireworks remote - YEAP!

Matt and Ryan went ocean fishing. Matt caught this Pollock.

Together!

In July, Johnny also got to meet Jackson and Jason. Stacy's sons. It was great to see them interact together. To many more visits and crazy boy play time.

July was also Tanya's baby shower. Let's just say, Charlotte is one loved little girl. I cant wait for J and Charlotte to hang out. An amazing shower, so many little perfect things. She even has her own shoes that say her name....AND Mag still makes the best cookies. I grew up on these cookies and even had them at my shower.
THE COOKIES = yummy!

I couldn't even get all the presents in one picture..

Perfect!

And then to end the month... Mom got to go for the day to boat races. Always a great time with the Beeman family and friends. I will only share a few of the pics, since most of them just don't need to be shared.

To sum it all up. Here are some fun facts about J this month:

  • He loves to walk with help
  • He stands for a few seconds but then sits
  • He has 2 teeth on the bottom and the top are coming through as well
  • Loves to use the walking push toy
  • Eating a lot more. Even tried my meatloaf at the end of the month

This summer has already been amazing and we are only through July. Labor Day weekend we will be at Casa de Carlson on Lake Roosevelt where Papa can show off his new toy to J.

It's almost here... at the end of September, J turns 1. I can't even believe it. But that does mean, Mama gets to plan a party!
