Johnny is 4 weeks old today!!

Johnny is 4 weeks old today (1 month old this Sunday)! Can you believe it? He is growing fast and is already out of newborn clothes and onto 3 months already (a bit big, but pretty much fitting). He is 10+ lbs now and his next Dr. visit is in another month. We plan to get our baby photos done in the next couple weeks and will be able to share some of those soon. His eyes are grey, but I am thinking the blue will start to appear. He is an amazing baby and we are filled with love and happiness every day. He sleeps pretty well and cries when he's hungry and tired. We are starting to understand his behaviors and signs a bit more every day. I see many outings once he gets a bit older to go and see friends and just show him the world. So many wonderful things to look forward to.

We have tried to save his special first moments in a few pics below.

I dont have a picture of it, but Nicole Beeman was the first to visit us in the hospital and she was also the person who guessed Sept. 30th as the due date. Here is a pic of Nicole, but at a later date.

Johnny's Nursery

We are ready to share, what we think is a pretty cool nursery for our Johnny! It's missing some wall decorations, but all in all....... its now put together enough to welcome Johnny any day now.

You've already seen all the construction we had to do to make this possible, now onto making it real.

Matt did all the grass along the bottom free hand. Very impressive!
Brenda was the master behind making the tree a reality
We helped.... I never knew I had a bit of an artist in me

Also, here's some great pics of us enjoying the beautiful Seattle weather at 37 weeks pregnant.

Went hiking at St. Edwards State Park and enjoyed a dip in Lake Washington

When will Johnny arrive?

This is what some friends and family think:
Leslie - Sept. 19th - sorry, not here yet
Brenda - Sept. 25th
Sarah - Sept. 16th - sorry - not here yet
Tanya - Oct. 2nd
Nicole - Sept. 30th
Karen - Sept. 21st - sorry, not here yet (New Guess, Sept. 29th)
Sue F. - Oct. 8th
Fred - Oct. 2nd
Sue C. - Sept. 26th
Bob - Sept. 28th (Grandpa's Birthday actually)
Jenny P - Sept. 24th
Josh - Sept. 27th
Shane and Krista - Sept. 28th (Shane's Birthday Too)

I think we are ready or as ready as we can be. The Dr. says everything is perfect so far and he's measuring normal.

Stay tuned.....
