Happy Birthday Zander Hawk Fontaine

Zander Hawk Fontaine joined our family officially at 4:42 p.m. on July 18, 2014. He weighed 8 lbs 2.6 oz and was 20.25" long. He has dark hair and his feet are the size of pontoons.

Contractions started around 2:30 a.m.
We went to the hospital at 8:30 a.m. and were officially admitted around 12 p.m.
Epidural at 2 p.m.
Started pushing at about 4:30 p.m.
And Zander came into the world at 4:42 p.m.
His arrival was a bit more peaceful than his big brother's - only a little crying and no pee fountain!

Here is proud mama the evening before, getting ready for the big day to come.

Laboring in the parking lot during our walk to get things moving.

Ready to push!

And BAM, here's Zander!

Zander is sad to see our delivery nurse Soon go home.

Proud Dadda!

A tired victory dinner.

Bath and footprint time!

Wiggly foot prints.

Second footprints.

Hangin' under the heat lamp and checkin' things out.

We're thrilled to bring home our second little miracle!

Love, Matt, Shelby, Johnny, and Zander

Memere's House In Maine

Johnny and Matt had a FUN trip to Maine April 2-7. Johnny's first plane ride in his own seat and his first time sledding (by his own will). Lots of snow left from a cold Maine winter made for lots of winter fun.

First day....Seattle golfer adapting to the Maine snow

And a snowman with Memere.

Passed out after a long flight and long day!

Then sledding with Justin and Hannah in Greenwood Maine.

Next up, Lobster Feed and learning to tell fish stories from Aunt Nicole.

Super fun sledding with Aunt Nicole near Memere's house.

Now we'll have to take him to see the Red Sox in June so he understands why he has all these funny clothes.

Sunday dinner at Aunt Lisa's. The girls surprised Johnny with the world's biggest whoopie pie, and J helped slice it.
Uncle Paul stole Johnny's belly, but he gave it back.

Still had some huge snowbanks for king of the mountain and snowball fights.

And lots of Mud!

Our last adventure was a snowshoe and sledding trip down the camp road.

Followed by a good nap at Aunt Nicole's house.

And Easter Eggs

Picking out dinner on the flight home.

See ya next time my Maine people!
