A Start to Johnny's Nursery

I wanted to share what we've started..... A new nursery for Johnny.

Matt has been amazing and hard at work finishing up this new room. We decided to turn the office next to our room into the nursery. Johnny will have the nicest room in the house once it's done. Sharing the construction photos now and the finish product later.

Coat closet out and new wall will be put in.
We found wood floors under the carpet, but needed some repairs.
Moving the hall doorway up, so Matt can fit better

All by himself, Matt made the floors look like new again
Repaired and sanded.....
BEAUTIFUL!!!

The floors are done, wall will be up this week and then onto painting. With the help of Brenda's artistic skills, we will be creating the perfect owl themed nursery.

We're now 32 weeks and counting. Still feeling amazing and starting to get a bit scared and all excited at the same time. We're learning so much at baby class. Almost too much:) Still able to do spin class twice a week and long walks in between. I feel lucky to feel this good still and hope for labor to be nice to all of us as well.

Cant wait for my baby shower at the end of August. Thanks to all my lady friends who are putting it on. We are very lucky to have such great support from our friends and family. Johnny will definitely be loved by the coolest people... Next, I will post some pics from this upcoming event.

Loving our Seattle summer. Life is good.....

Fontaine's in Maine

Hey There!

We landed in Maine for a week of family fun and were able to spend some great times with friends and family from June 24th through July 4th. Enjoy our adventures below:

To start it all off, we went to camp, so Matt could take a swim in Great Pond. Camp (AKA Cabin on a Lake) has been in the family for over 40 years and was built by Matt's Pepere (French for Grandpa), Dad and Uncles.

Stands for Marc, Louie, Charlie and Wilfred

Matt went deep sea fishing with Ryan and got a 6 foot blue shark and some cod. The big tuna weren't biting that day, but all in all they had a great time.

A lobster feed at camp with family and friends. Baby Fontaine's first taste of lobster. I believe he liked it! I know we sure did.

28 fresh lobsters

Always a big group for a lobster feed.

Leftovers to have lobster rolls for the next 3 days.
Sue bringing in the jumbo whoopie pie for dessert

A nice visit with Andrew, Molly, and River Wilkie! Matt and River bonded a bit. Matt is going to be an amazing Dad.

We were able to get in 9 holes of golf with Nicole and Ryan. I got a birdie. YES!
Par 3, but I got a 2... I still got my golf skills while pregnant.

Guess who got to go strawberry picking? We did... Stevenson Strawberries had fields of strawberries to pick. Probably the best strawberries we've ever had.

Early morning fishing trip for Jenny, Matt and Ryan. Didnt catch much, but still a good time.

July 2nd was our baby shower at Camp. It was perfect. Special thanks to Sue, Nicole, Lisa, Jenny, and Sarah for making our 1st baby shower amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Best Onesies Ever!

Go Maine Blackbears!

Matt's favorite book when he was a baby.

And then it came to an end. Had lunch in Portland with Sue. Until Next Time.......

And announcing the name of Baby Fontaine......

Johnny Marc Robert Fontaine

Still feeling great, but definitely getting bigger. Really have enjoyed being pregnant so far!

Next up, home improvements, Johnny's room and much much more... 28 weeks and counting now!

Sarah Wall you will be missed by all.......

Just a quick post to remember a very dear friend who passed away suddenly on June 5th, 2011. She had given too much of her heart to all her friends and family and there just wasn't enough left to keep her going. I know I have a small piece of it with me, always!

Sarah Wall - I really miss you! I believe I am a better person because of your loving friendship. What we've shared at WSU, Friends of Fitch (FOF), Wine Tasting, and just hanging out I will never forget. I'm sad to know you'll never get to meet Baby Fontaine, but know that he has alittle piece of your heart too.. he loves you for that. Keep that beautiful smile shining bright above for all of us to see and maybe get the Cougs to have a winning season again... Keep dancing my friend... Enough said for now.. you get it - I love ya!
